In partnership with Atrium Health, Morehouse Medicine helps you get convenient, trusted care when you need it. Patients of all ages can access Atrium Health’s virtual urgent care and virtual primary care services from home, work or anywhere. All you need is a smartphone, tablet or computer.
Plus, your virtual visit is added to your electronic health record, keeping your Morehouse Medicine care team informed if you need in-person care.

24/7 Urgent Care Video Visit:
Instead of going to a clinic, you can get care now for minor illnesses or nonurgent injuries with the next available provider over video, no appointment needed. Start a 24/7 urgent care video visit. -
Virtual Primary Care:
Establish an ongoing relationship with a virtual primary care provider for scheduled video visits, with extended hours offered 7 days a week from 6 a.m.-11 p.m. Schedule a virtual primary care appointment.

About Urgent Care Video Visits
Urgent care video visits make it easy for you to get on-demand urgent care diagnosis and treatment over video. Simply answer a few questions about your symptoms and wait for the next available provider.
Features of urgent care video visits:
- Atrium Health family medicine providers treat patients all ages, 24/7.
- Atrium Health Levine Children’s pediatric providers are available daily from 7 a.m.-11 p.m., for ages 0 to 17. Please note that children with certain health issues will require an in-person visit, including ear infections, shortness of breath, strep throat, urinary tract infections, and wheezing.

About Virtual Primary Care
With virtual primary care, you can choose a board-certified provider of your choice that you’ll always see virtually through scheduled video visits. After your first appointment, you’ll have an established virtual primary care provider you can trust for all of your health needs, including coordinated care with Morehouse Medicine providers and specialists.
Features of virtual primary care:
- Atrium Health family medicine providers are available for all ages, with appointments from 6 a.m.-11 p.m.
- Atrium Health Levine Children’s pediatric providers are available for appointments from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
- After your first visit, you can use eVisit secure messaging in MyAtriumHealth for minor conditions without an appointment
- We’ll help coordinate any in-person care with Morehouse Medicine, such as annual physicals, labs and screenings.

Frequently Asked Questions about Virtual Care
Video visits take place in MyChart, Morehouse Medicine's secure patient portal. All you need is a strong internet connection and smartphone, tablet or computer with a microphone and camera. You might also need your insurance card and a form of photo identification.
You can start an urgent care video visit with or without a MyChart account. For virtual primary care visits, you’ll need to create a MyChart account before you schedule your first appointment.
Yes, if you're located in Georgia, North Carolina or South Carolina at the time of your visit. This includes from work, the comfort of home or even while traveling.
Anyone over the age of 18 can request an urgent care video visit or virtual primary care appointment. You can also request a video visit on behalf of minors ages 0-17 if you're their legally authorized representative.
During your video visit, the provider will evaluate your condition, offer a diagnosis and share their treatment plan. Because there’s no physical exam, be ready to answer plenty of questions about your condition.
For pediatric visits, it’s important to have your child with you and visible on camera. If your child is old enough, the provider will also want to hear directly from them to better understand their symptoms.
For urgent care video visits, you’ll meet face-to-face with the next available telehealth provider.
With virtual primary care video visits, all visits are with your provider or your care team, so you’ll always see a familiar face
If recommended, online prescriptions will be sent to your chosen pharmacy. Your treatment plan and After Visit Summary can be viewed in your MyChart.
While most conditions can be managed over video, some require in-person visits. When needed, your virtual provider will help coordinate your care along with your Morehouse Medicine in-person care team.
Video visits use enhanced telehealth security measures to ensure only you and your provider have access to your video visit.
