Rodneysha L Brown, MD, Assistant Professor, Clinical Family Medicine, is a Family Medicine physician with extensive experience providing quality, comprehensive healthcare across the lifespan; from newborn to geriatric. Dr. Brown fosters a compassionate, trusting relationship with each of her patients and practices Medicine with a major focus on primary prevention. She actively listens, provides valuable medical education, and offers shared decision making with each of her patients.

As a lifelong learner, Dr. Brown makes every effort to stay abreast of clinical knowledge and implement evidence-based medicine into her practice.

A native of inner-city Atlanta, GA, she graduated as Valedictorian of Frederick Douglass High School. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Howard University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine at Morehouse
School of Medicine where she was a graduate of the Community Health Honors Program and a National Health Service Corps Scholar.

Dr. Brown completed Family Medicine residency training at Morehouse School of Medicine earning the Community Service Award. During her training, she also served on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Healthy Family Alliance as a
Resident member.

Dr. Brown has a strong passion for serving the underserved and has earned numerous accolades for her commitment to improving overall healthcare outcomes in vulnerable patient populations.

Throughout her career, she has remained steadfast in eliminating healthcare disparities in communities that mirror where she was raised while embodying the quote, “I am a product of my
community, and my community will be my biggest production.”
