Brandon Henry, MD, MPH

After graduating from the Chamblee High School Magnet Program, Dr. Henry left the
Atlanta area for Howard University where he studied biology from which graduated Magna
Cum Laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Henry went on to obtain his Medical
Degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and a Master’s in Public
Health from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory. He then completed General
Surgery Residency and subsequently Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Duke University
Medical Center.
Dr. Henry is now joining the Morehouse School of Medicine faculty as an Assistant
Professor. Clinically he will plan to take care of patients with a broad spectrum
of general vascular surgical diseases including peripheral vascular disease, carotid
arterial disease, aortic aneurysms, venous disease and dialysis access needs. Academically
Dr. Henry’s focus will be within the realm of surgical education, curriculum development
and surgical simulation.
As a product of such MSM endeavors as the Medical Post Program and the Summer Youth
Mentorship Program, Dr. Henry is excited to rejoin the Morehouse family. It will truly
be a pleasure to take care of patients in this community and contribute the institution
that helped his professional dreams begin to come true.
