Dr Omofolarin (Fola) Fasuyi is a family physician, educator and public health professional with years of experience in a wide range of healthcare settings.

He was born and raised in Nigeria. He got his medical degree from the University of Ibadan College of Medicine. After graduating from medical school, he worked as medical officer in a range of locations in Nigeria before moving to the United States for professional growth. He has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Policy and Management from the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University, Atlanta, GA. He completed his Family Medicine residency training at the Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA where he also served as chief resident.

Dr Fasuyi believes in partnering with patients, their families and communities to improve their health using evidence-based cost-effective approaches. He is dedicated to service and actively engages in exploring opportunities to be a better contributing member of the society. He has served in various capacities in service organizations, faith-based settings, organized medicine, health policy and management committees at institutional, local and state levels.

Apart from being a Family Medicine faculty here at Morehouse School of Medicine, Dr Fasuyi also serves in the Medical Corps of the United States Army Reserve. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, member of the American Medical Association amongst other professional affiliations.
